Thank you for your prayers dear praying friends. We are so thankful to our Lord for answered prayers! Rooby (Pakistan) was very ill with malaria, a 103 degree fever, severe cough and body pains! After about three weeks, she is finally bouncing back to full health!💞

Ian (Uganda) was released from the hospital, after dealing with severe pneumonia…He was down for several weeks, but is recovering well, and is back to full strength and restoration…🙏. We were so happy to hear that recently he was part of a preaching convention that visited churches and did street evangelism in nearby districts. We praise God for these opportunities and believe that the Lord will use him more and more in evangelism!

You may recall our past posts about young Josiah at Blessed Hope, who suffered severe abuse at a very young age at the hands of his drunken father and was left without a mother’s care. Ian is known for caring for orphans and was contacted by neighbors who found Josiah abandoned and starving. This dear child didn’t speak a word for well over a year! After several years of care, Josiah began to talk again and even smile.

Recently, school authorities have informed us that Josiah is facing mental health challenges. He tends to be very quiet. However, when he becomes ill and develops a fever, he becomes uncontrollable and thrashes about! Unfortunately, Josiah has caught malaria with a high fever, and he was required to have hospitalization for three days.

Please continue praying for this little tyke, a sweet child of God who has been deeply scarred from trauma. Thank you to each one praying for the continual healing of sweet Josiah…💞🙏🏼. Ian believes he’ll be able to return to school in a week!😀 We are thankful the school is allowing us to pay schooling fees in three payments instead of one big one! Praise God for His mercy!

We lean on the Lord and His promises. Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Needless to say, these medical emergencies use up funds that were allocated for other needs. We had planned to repair the outside walls of the orphanage where pockets of deterioration have been forming due to wet weather. Mildew is eating away at the adobe-like construction. We will need to raise $1800, and so appreciate your prayers for the Lord’s provision.💞🙏🏼

The Muslim world celebrated the Eid al-Adha, ‘Feast of Sacrifice’ Thursday, June 6, in Pakistan. Several videos from Rooby showed animals being brought to the huge sacrifice, and it’s so difficult for Rooby and Umer to see these animals being cruelly treated. Millions of sheep, goats, calves, and even camels were sacrificed! Sadly, these people have not heard about the One and only sacrifice needed through the death and resurrection of Jesus…to all those who believe in Him.😢

Continue praying that Umer finds a suitable buffalo cow, which will enable children Tara and Mana (freed from this slavery) to generate income by selling milk. They will be learning how to properly care for the animal.

In Pakistan, an estimated two million children also work for up to 14 hours a day, six days a week in brick-making kilns, lacking basic rights and access to social security. Pakistan is now ranked as having the third highest prevalence of modern-day slavery according to the 2013 Global Slavery Index report.

What a joy to receive updates from Nabeel about the vibrant children’s ministry in the village! They send their love and greetings to you..our praying friends and donors. 🙏💞 The men’s ministry is also flourishing, with a house-to-house prayer ministry organically growing from their weekly prayer and Bible study meetings. The sisters in Christ are reaching out to the village women through Bible studies and sewing lessons. They are also visiting the village women, the elderly and sick, to pray over them. This is how the church of God grows! The Word of God is spreading through their demonstrations of His love! Pray the Holy Spirit will fill and guide these brothers and sisters in Christ.

The foundation for the worship and training center is complete, and we’re trusting God to provide the necessary funds to bring this vision to life!! Please unite with us in prayer, asking God to miraculously provide for this faith-stretching project. Thank you to everyone who intercede and give. We love you…🙏🙏💞❤️. Nabeel recently had an evangelistic service inviting the brickyard workers in the area. Over 500 attended this, and the Spirit of love was felt by all!

We recently received this message from Nabeel regarding the location of this future worship center that they will simply call “Tabernacle…“Last Friday I came to know a very interesting fact from an elderly man. When the British were ruling here, they used to worship at this exact place by setting up tents, and people from different villages used to gather here to worship and pray to God.” What a blessing to know God used that very spot many years ago to worship Him!

We rejoice with Nabeel as he shares the Bible with village Muslims. They are inviting him into their homes to pray for their sick! ♥️ We welcomed four Muslim women into the Christian sewing group who are hungry for God’s truth! God is on the move! 🙏

We are so grateful for the ongoing peace between Pakistan and India at this point. War between these two countries with nuclear capabilities is always possible. Nabeel reported to us how scared the children in the villages were when they heard Pakistan’s war planes bombing India only 150 miles away. It left the village terrified! Please pray this new peace truce continues.🙏 Surely these are all signs of the times! He is coming soon!

Matthew 25:37-40. “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me!”

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
