We are so thankful for the kindness shown to Blessed Hope Orphanage under Ian Kakembo‘s leadership in Mityana, Uganda. We are pleased that we can now provide tax deductible statements for your mailed gifts (made out to Robert Deno Ministries), as well as those given through www.robertdeno.com .
We gratefully lean on your prayers and support as we care for and educate these beautiful children. School expenses are always a challenge. We pray for each child to grow up knowing Christ, having a basic education, and having a future with hope.
We continue to give thanks for the pure water supplied by our recent well. We can see already that it has reduced the number of illnesses among the children! We acknowledge with deep gratitude that we could not be doing this without your help and without the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are appreciative and very enthusiastic about the outstanding progress made through Nabeel under RDM (Robert Deno Ministries). Our donors have allowed us to purchase 10 sewing machines! What a rich blessing!
These gifts have allowed Nabeel to set up a vocational center to train Christian women to sew garments as a cottage industry. Prayer and Bible study is also a part of this training.
We are so happy with the report that over 70 women attended the inauguration ceremony! There were many Muslim women from the local villages who attended. We praise God for the openness of these Muslim women to the Bible messages. May their spiritual eyes, ears, and souls remain receptive to the Lord’s Word, including salvation, and the good promises He gives to all who put their trust in Him.
Umer’s commitment to the Lord and to the people he serves in the brickyards of Pakistan is inspiring! His Christian friend, Ghaffar, unexpectedly passed away due to complications from diabetes and kidney disease. This left Umer grieving much. Ghaffar’s wife had died three years prior from the brutal treatment of the brickyard owner. The details of this cruelty are too sad to go into detail. The three children are now left without a mother or father.
We have been given an opportunity to liberate Ghaffar’s three children from the oppressive brick kiln slave trade. These hardships continue because the children remain bound to their father’s $1500 debt owed to the brick kiln owner.
Every dollar donated toward them will have a profound impact on these children’s lives.
Rooby continues to provide education and Bible teaching to the Pakistani children who lack access to formal schooling. Her dream is to start a school for these kids. She continues to shine as a beacon of hope and opportunity for these youngsters. The educational system for these poor kids is broken and almost non-existent.
Please consider praying and giving towards the very worthy ministry of Simon Shuboro Tripura. Simon is a pastor, teacher, evangelist, educator, and advocate to the poor. He is tireless in reaching out to those in the unreached mountainous regions of Bangladesh. These people are both Hindu and Muslim who have never heard of the Gospel of Christ.
Simon is currently praying to begin an orphan girls’ hostel. Funds are needed for their care as well as their education. Simon has made it known that he is praying and wants prayer for the Lord will lead a godly woman into his life for marriage.
We have a passion to transform the lives of these impoverished communities, focusing on evangelism, education, training, and spiritual growth. Our non-profit organization (www.robertdeno. com) has evolved through meaningful relationships with Ian Kakembo ( www.blessedhope.ug ) and with Nabeel, Rooby, and Umer in their separate evangelistic efforts and assistance to the very poor in Pakistan. We also assist Simon Shibro Tripura in Bangladesh. No overhead or salaries are taken out of these donations.
We count on your prayers for the needs of these marginalized communities in hard-to-reach countries. We ask prayer the Lord’s guidance and provision. We give the Lord Jesus Christ all glory for all He is doing through these faithful servants of God!
Matthew 9:37. Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
